Ellsworth Construction is the winner of the AGC Build Oklahoma Award for Best Specialty Project $2- $5 million
TULSA, OK / ACCESSWIRE / April 7, 2022 / Ellsworth Construction, a total site road construction company with operations throughout the State of Oklahoma, announced today that the 2021 Road Reconstruction Product - Wekiwa Road was named the winner of AGC Build Oklahoma Specialty Project in the $2-$5 Million category. Being recognized by our peers on this project that impacted the safety and economic well-being of Tulsa is a great reward.

Build Oklahoma represents the best of the best building projects in the state. The awards were presented Saturday, Feb 5, 2022 at the Cox convention center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "With one of our larger pool of submissions, we are excited to announce Ellsworth Construction, LLC. as a Build Oklahoma winner!," said Lany Milner, Chapter Manager.
With Victor Mancilla as foreman, Wekiwa road was a total reconstruction and widening project to accommodate the upcoming Iron Man competition, as well as, to provide a safer emergency route for the neighboring community. The project consisted of building ¾ mile of slopes along the sides of the road, 45ft deep and widening it 3 ft on each side. Ellsworth also provided improvements such as adding a bike lane and upgrading the trails along the sides.
