SOUTHBURY, CT / ACCESSWIRE / February 6, 2015 / Integrated Freight Corporation (OTC: IFCR), has executed a letter of intent to acquire a specialized motor carrier to add to its operations. Specifics regarding the carrier, terms of the deal, and its place in IFCR's long-term strategy will be released upon closing of the acquisition. Closing is anticipated by the end of IFCR's March fiscal year end.
David N. Fuselier, Integrated's CEO said, "Integrated Freight's strategy includes organic growth as well as growth through acquisitions. We believe there are multiple small to medium-sized truckload candidates that mirror our service model and will add value to our business. Such acquisitions will enable IFCR to increase density on our most profitable specialized cargo routes.
