REGINA, SK / ACCESSWIRE / September 5, 2017 / iFare, a new ride-sharing app that puts the "Power of Pricing" in the hands of the passenger has hit the market and has students, citizens, taxi drivers and similar services across the country excited about this unique rideshare app.

Founder Saul Segall says, "I am excited to provide our communities with a unique option in terms of obtaining safe, reliable transportation to wherever people need to go for whatever the circumstance." iFare is a ridesharing app that allows passengers to set the rate in which they are willing to pay(contribute) it also allows existing rideshare services the ability to make themselves available as a driver and increase exposure for their service through the app. For passengers, the app makes it incredibly easy to obtain a ride by providing 3 simple options. 1) Passengers can view the list of available drivers and click on them to make contact. 2) A request can be made that is posted to the passenger list that shows your travel details, where you are, where you need to be, how many passengers and how much you are willing to contribute for your ride. Drivers can see your mapped out trip right on the app. 3) Passengers can click the "Take me home" button and a notification is sent to all available drivers within that radius and gives all the details of a posted request. "This a is a great option for travelers," says Segall. "Preprogram your destination and when you get off the plane, click the button and wait for a taxi to contact you while you wait for your bags etc."

As a driver, simply open the app and click "Make me available" and set how long you'd like to be available that day. Delete at any time. By making yourself available you are able to view the list of passenger requests and allow passengers to contact you directly.

Segall adds, "iFare was never iFare, Tuesday, September 5, 2017, Press release picturedeveloped to have a negative impact on the taxi industry or similar services, but rather give those services the opportunity to increase their exposure to the market of consumers that don't have time for an overcrowded bus or the money for an expensive taxi. Every day there are taxi cabs sitting and waiting for a call. iFare makes it easy for people to reach out to these drivers, people that may only have $5 or $10 for a ride." The app also makes it easy for good Samaritans to make themselves available as a driver or a safe sober ride home and make a positive impact on our communities in the fight against drinking and driving.

"I strongly urge students to take advantage of the app as parking permits are scarce early in the year and many students are put on a waiting list. Each morning city buses are packed with students as fellow classmates cruise by in their cars". iFare hopes to relieve congestion during these high traffic periods.

Segall hopes to tap into the commuting market and give commuters a more effective channel of communication when trying to link with those drivers heading to the same areas/events or work places.

In the next week, Both drivers and passengers will have the convenience of uploading pictures for positive identification when processing a ride through the app.

iFare is available on Google Play and The App Store
