The Game Mimics the Process of a Real Archaeological Dig, Giving Players the Opportunity to Find a 66 Million-Year Old T-Rex Tooth

According to a Dig a Dino spokesperson, the game's mechanics include worker placement, memory, and set collection. To play the game, players choose tools and dig through soil and rock in order to discover buried surprises, with the object of the game being to collect the most "Paleo Points" before it ends. Each Dig a Dino game includes one turn token, 60 worker tokens, five tool cards, 15 soil cards, and 15 rock cards.
"Imagine that the discovery of a 66 million year old T-Rex tooth has ignited a bone-digging frenzy, so you must command a skilled team of paleontologists looking to win big," said Cordell.
"Unfortunately you are not the only team digging, so the game is all about battling for the limited tools available. Every day you will have to make important decisions over which tools to use; choose wisely."
At this time, Cordell and the Dig a Dino team have taken the project to Kickstarter, where they seek the necessary funds to bring the game to life. The money raised will be used to manufacture and fulfill the orders for an all-around high-quality experience.
