The author of Love Notes - Single Hearts Affairs broadens her creative career with contemporary romance, national appearances and a growing focus on long-form storytelling.
BELLE MEAD, NJ / ACCESS Newswire / September 10, 2026 / Author Twinkle Zaman is expanding her literary career, moving beyond the poetry that introduced her voice to readers and into a broader chapter centered on fiction, public appearances and long-form storytelling.
Zaman first entered publishing with Love Notes - Single Hearts Affairs, a poetry collection exploring love, heartbreak and relationships. Her latest work, the contemporary romance It's Got To Be You, represents a significant evolution in both the scope of her writing and the career she is building around it.
The novel follows Lucy DeLuca, a 19-year-old college student whose unexpected relationship with rising country singer Chip Wayne becomes intertwined with her own journey toward self-discovery. While romance drives the story, Zaman uses the relationship to explore identity, ambition and what it means for two people to encourage one another's growth.
"This story, in a lot of ways, mirrors my own life," Zaman says. "I feel like we get a lot of girl-meets-boy stories, but this one is also about allowing someone to grow and become the highest version of themselves."
