VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / February 16, 2022 / When Nick Williams started a landscaping company at the age of 18, he didn't realize that he was about to discover his passion…and it wasn't landscaping.

"How you do one thing is how you do everything. If you're going to start something, give it every inch of your being." Nick has always taken this advice to heart, and it explains why he was able to be successful in self-employment right from the beginning of his working life. While working on building his landscaping company, Nick wasn't content to have clients reach out and request his services. While out on jobs, he would take the time to go to the homes surrounding his worksite in attempts to generate new business. Through dealing with objections and rejections, Nick discovered that he had a knack for sales. More importantly, though, he had a love for it. He'd always had a desire to be in control of his own income, and he had found the skill he could leverage to achieve this goal. Thinking that the best approach would be post-secondary education, he immediately enrolled in college marketing courses. After two years, though, he came to the realization that the path he was on wasn't leading to his desired destination. After careful thought and consideration, he dropped out of college and began looking for a sales position in a local company. A business to business communication group accepted Nick's application, and, as he always did, Nick dove into his new position with every ounce of effort he could muster. It didn't take him long to set himself apart from the other employees, and quickly became the highest producer out of a team of forty other sales representatives.
Nick may have left college, but he never left education. Throughout this time, he hadn't only been focusing on work, he had also been receiving mentorship and courses through a professional salesman and trainer, Grant Cardone. When Nick noticed that Grant was looking to expand his own team, Nick jumped at the chance and immediately tried to make contact. Six interviews later, Nick was offered the job. Without a second of hesitation, he packed his suitcase, threw it into his car, and drove from his small hometown in Newfoundland to his new position in Vancouver, BC. This proved to be a life changing decision in all the best ways. Working with such a skilled leader and team, Nick was able to hone his skills more than ever before. He put in the time and effort, and leveraged every opportunity available . His dedication and persistence didn't go unnoticed. It was these qualities that caused one of his clients - Cormier Media - to reach out to him and offer him a partnership position in their company. Cormier Media is a business based in Brandon, Manitoba that specializes in digital marketing and services, and Nick could see that, in the current world environment, the digital space had a lot to offer in the way of sales opportunities. The remote position would allow him to continue doing what he loved, while being able to reach and assist more people. He accepted the offer, and immediately began producing results.
Currently, Nick is a managing partner and director of sales in Cormier Media, and, on top of taking the company to new heights with a consistently high volume of production, assists the company with training in all things related to the sales aspect of the business. With a goal of helping Cormier Media achieve the status of being a $100 million company, Nick continues to push forward relentlessly, and is on his way to personally becoming an annual 7 figure earner.
