Dr. Zahoorudin, MBBS, M.D., a board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians, (AASCP) USA, credits Stemtech's stem cell nutrition science with launching his career in regenerative medicine.
NAPLES, FL / ACCESS Newswire / September 22, 2026 / Stemtech Corporation (OTC PINK:STEK) today announced that Dr. Zahoorudin, a physician and board-certified diplomate of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians, based in Pakistan, has identified Stemtech's stem cell nutrition science as the cornerstone of his decision to build his medical practice and research around stem cell utilization.
Dr. Zahoorudin, who began studying Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine in 2008 - years before stem cell science entered mainstream awareness - says it was Stemtech's early research into the body's own stem cell mechanisms that first drew him into the field, well before he pursued his fellowship and board certification.
In the United Kingdom during 2008, Dr. Zahoorudin became deeply interested in a rapidly changing view of cellular biology. That same year, the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Osamu Shimomura, Martin Chalfie and Roger Y. Tsien for the discovery and development of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), a breakthrough that gave scientists a powerful way to visualize and track biological processes inside living cells. For Dr. Zahoorudin, whose medical education from 1996 to 2001 had emphasized stem cells primarily in the context of blood-cell formation, the emerging ability to observe cell behavior, movement and fate helped open an entirely new way of thinking about regeneration.
It was during this formative period that Dr. Zahoorudin became involved with Stemtech US & UK team and participated in Stemtech scientific seminars across the UK and Europe. He became particularly fascinated by the company's early focus on the body's own stem-cell biology-including the concepts of release, circulation, migration and homing. What seemed highly futuristic to Dr. Zahoorudin in 2008 would become central to his professional journey over the following years.
