Servolution and Pastor Dino Rizzo are making a free Serve Day sermon resource available to churches worldwide, with support from ministry and creative partners including Substance Church.

BIRMINGHAM, AL / ACCESS Newswire / July 9, 2026 / Servolution and Pastor Dino Rizzo have released a free Serve Day sermon resource designed to help pastors build a culture of outreach and serving within their congregations ahead of this year's global Serve Day initiative.

The resource was developed by Rizzo in collaboration with ministry partners, including Substance Church pastors Peter Haas and Carolyn Haas, associate pastor Nate Puccini, and creative partner Vzion. Recorded at Substance Church and made available through Servolution.org, the resource is being offered free to churches worldwide. This marks the third consecutive year these ministry partners have worked together to produce the outreach-focused teaching resource.

Serve Day, which is celebrating more than two decades of outreach in 2026, mobilizes thousands of churches worldwide to serve their local communities through practical outreach projects and volunteer initiatives.

"This resource is really about helping churches create a heart for outreach that lasts beyond a single day," Servolution leaders said. "We want pastors and teams to feel equipped, encouraged, and supported as they lead people into serving their communities."

The free sermon package was developed to give churches flexibility in how they use the material. According to organizers, many churches use the resource during the weeks leading up to Serve Day, while others incorporate it into volunteer training, midweek gatherings, outreach weekends, or Sunday services. Some pastors also use the resource to provide additional support for their preaching teams during busy outreach seasons.

Churches that register early will also receive an optional personalized video greeting recorded by Rizzo specifically for their congregation. Last year, more than 200 churches used the sermon resource as part of their Serve Day preparations.

Serve Day and Servolution are outreach initiatives connected to Rizzo's longtime mission of helping churches engage their communities through acts of compassion, generosity, and practical service. Over the years, the movement has expanded to include thousands of churches serving across multiple countries.

The release of the sermon resource comes as churches prepare for this year's Serve Day outreach efforts, with more than 3,000 churches across 19 countries expected to participate in community service initiatives.

In addition to the sermon materials, churches can access outreach planning tools, project ideas, volunteer resources, and serving strategies through Servolution.org and ServeDay.com.
