Husband-and-wife duo excited to help young learners prepare for the future!
PLANO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / February 1, 2023 / Naila Kabani has two passions: children and lifelong learning. Her dream of combining both in a way that impacts the community is about to be realized when the doors open to her new Code Wiz learning center in Plano this month.
Along with her husband Ali, Kabani is excited to welcome students to the center, helping develop critical thinking and problem solving, while focusing on valuable STEM skills. In a world that is becoming increasingly digitized, it's essential for children to learn a high demand skill set and have fun while doing it.
When the Kabanis were introduced to Code Wiz CEO and Nerd-in-Chief Ruth Agbaji, they were inspired by her personal story of resilience and her mission to impact 1 billion children through coding and robotics.
"Ruth's story really inspired us and we realized Code Wiz was exactly what we were looking for," said Kabani. "Coding is the language of the future and we want to give young learners an opportunity to prepare."
Unlike other coding programs, Code Wiz features a Montessori-style approach. Classes are project-based and student-led, meaning each youth is able to explore at their own pace while building confidence and interest. Students can engage with a variety of activities, including building multi-level video games, creating animations, being introduced to Python, website development in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and enrolling in classes for Roblox, Minecraft and Unity. Robotics competitions are also available.
The center's Grand Opening will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special guests of honor include Plano Mayor John B. Muns and Code Wiz founder, CEO and Nerd-in-Chief Ruth Agbaji. Families are encouraged to join in on the festivities, and experience hands-on interactive coding and robotics fun!
Class registration is already open and Founding Family memberships are available to the first 50 families who enroll, giving them 31.4% off regular classes for life.
The new center is located at 6905 Coit Road Suite 104 in Plano.
