New AI-powered Predictive Security capabilities transform access-control activity into actionable intelligence, emerging risk awareness, and more proactive security operations.

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / October 19, 2026 / PCSC Security, a leading provider of physical access control solutions, today announced a strategic technology partnership with Davista.ai to bring predictive intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities to PCSC's access management solutions.

The relationship combines PCSC's established access control technology with Davista's artificial intelligence and predictive analytics capabilities, creating a new layer of visual, analytical, and predictive intelligence for physical security environments.

The result is an evolution of traditional access control from systems that primarily record and respond to events toward systems that can help security teams recognize patterns, identify anomalies, understand changing activity, and proactively identify areas requiring attention.

Introducing Predictive Security

PCSC is incorporating predictive capabilities into its access control ecosystem under the concept of Predictive Security, powered by Davista.

For users of PCSC's LiNC-NXG (physical security information management) software, the technology provides an additional predictive intelligence layer designed to help transform the large volume of information generated by an access control system into actionable security intelligence.

Access events, alarms, door activity, camera triggers, access violations, and other security-related events can be analyzed collectively to provide a more comprehensive understanding of activity throughout a facility or campus. Where appropriate, this information can also be correlated with other security and operational data sources to provide broader context around what is occurring within an environment.

Rather than simply displaying individual events, Predictive Security can help identify patterns, trends, relationships, concentrations, anomalies, and changes in activity that might otherwise be difficult to recognize.

For PCSC integrators and reseller partners, Predictive Security creates an opportunity to extend the value of LiNC-NXG beyond traditional access control-introducing new analytics-driven capabilities to both existing customers and new deployments while continuing to leverage the underlying PCSC access control infrastructure.

Visualizing Security Activity

A key component of the solution is the use of visual activity mapping, or "heat maps," to help security personnel quickly understand where activity is occurring and where unusual or elevated levels of activity may be developing.

These heat maps are not representations of temperature. Instead, they provide a visual representation of security-related activity across an environment, helping highlight areas experiencing increased alarms, access activity, camera triggers, access violations, or other events.

This visual approach can give security teams an immediate understanding of where attention may be warranted while providing the analytical detail necessary to investigate the underlying events and conditions.

Smarter Guard Tours

Predictive Security also introduces new possibilities for guard operations through Automated and Suggestive Guard Tours.

Rather than relying exclusively on predetermined patrol routes, security personnel can receive tour recommendations based on current activity, historical patterns, and changing conditions within a facility.

Elevated alarm activity, unusual access patterns, repeated events, emerging concentrations of activity, or other indicators can influence where security personnel may want to focus their attention.

This creates the potential for guard tours to become more dynamic and responsive to actual conditions rather than simply following a fixed schedule, helping organizations focus security resources where they may have the greatest impact.

Beyond Traditional Event Monitoring

Modern access control systems generate enormous amounts of information every day. Door entry events, alarms, camera triggers, access violations, and other system activity can provide valuable insight-but only if that information can be effectively interpreted and acted upon.

The PCSC-Davista relationship adds an intelligent predictive and analytical layer to PCSC's access management software, providing a visual and data-driven method for understanding that activity and helping security teams identify what matters, what may be changing, and where additional attention may be warranted.

"Access control has traditionally been very good at telling us what happened," said Mas Kosaka, President and CEO of PCSC. "With Predictive Security, we are taking the next step, helping security professionals understand patterns of activity, visualize what is happening across their environment, and identify where their attention may be needed. This relationship with Davista gives PCSC the opportunity to bring a new level of intelligence to access management and provide our customers and partners with capabilities that extend the value of their existing security infrastructure."

An Intelligent Extension of Access Management

Predictive Security is designed as a predictive intelligence layer for PCSC's access management software, complementing the existing capabilities of LiNC-NXG rather than replacing the underlying access control infrastructure.

The technology is intended to provide security professionals with a higher-level visual, analytical, and predictive perspective of their environment while continuing to leverage the access control events and information already being generated by their systems.

"The opportunity is not simply adding AI to an access control system," said Scott Sieracki, Co-Founder and CEO of Davista. "It is using the information already being generated by security systems to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging conditions that warrant attention and then turning that intelligence into action. Our partnership with PCSC brings those capabilities directly into the access management environment, helping security teams move beyond simply reviewing what happened toward understanding what is developing and where intervention may have the greatest impact."

The companies are currently developing and refining the capabilities of Predictive Security across a range of physical security applications, including enterprise facilities, government environments, education, healthcare, financial services, critical infrastructure, and other security-sensitive locations. PCSC and Davista are also engaging with customers and partners to identify applications where Predictive Security can provide additional operational and security value.

Access Control Intelligence

Predictive Security can also transform traditional access control systems from repositories of transaction data into sources of actionable security intelligence.

By continuously analyzing both historical and real-time access activity, the system can identify unusual credential behavior, access attempts outside normal time periods, repeated denied access, unexpected movement between locations, changes in individual or population behavior, and other patterns that may warrant attention. Rather than requiring security teams to manually search through large volumes of access events, these insights can be surfaced through an Access Control Dashboard for situational awareness and an Investigative Dashboard for deeper analysis.

This gives security teams the ability to move beyond simply knowing who entered a door and when, toward understanding what activity is unusual, how behaviors are changing, where risk may be emerging, and which people, credentials, locations, or events may require further investigation.
