Irish poker professional captures back-to-back European Poker Tour trophies.
SAN JOSÉ, CR / ACCESS Newswire / May 18, 2026 / ACR Team Online member Conor O'Driscoll secured two European Poker Tour titles on consecutive days during the 2026 EPT Monte Carlo series, delivering one of the standout performances of the festival.
Representing ACR Team Online, the Irish poker professional first won the €1,100 NLHE Single Re-Entry event after defeating a field of 307 entries. The victory earned O'Driscoll €60,290 from the €294,720 prize pool along with his first PokerStars spade trophy.
O'Driscoll followed that result the next day by winning the €2,100 Hyper Turbo Freezeout, adding a second EPT title and €38,000 in prize money.
Reflecting on the first victory, O'Driscoll described overcoming an early setback after re-entering the tournament with a short stack.
"Bought in for my second bullet for 40bb and managed to spin up a stack. Played some nice hands and managed to win a few flips."
After building momentum late on Day 1, O'Driscoll entered Day 2 among the chip leaders.
"I bagged double average and was feeling very confident going into Day 2 - 3/39 and already in the money."
A key moment came with 18 players remaining in a three-way all-in against Jamie Dwan.
"Jamie opened the button with 20bb, I shoved K-J from the small blind and the big blind came along. The big blind had pocket sixes and Jamie had pocket nines. The flop came jack-high and we held."
Later, O'Driscoll extended his chip lead with 10 players remaining after winning another pivotal hand.
"The button opened and I 3-bet A-K suited to induce his A-4 shove - and suddenly the massive chip lead was mine."
Known online as "Ccoonnoorr," O'Driscoll began playing poker in school home games before pursuing the game seriously while attending university. Following years of development online and in staking arrangements, he emerged as a successful tournament player and streamer.
Now competing under the ACR Poker banner, O'Driscoll has accumulated more than $1 million in live tournament earnings.
His double title run in Monte Carlo marks one of the most notable achievements of his career to date.
