WooD, Which Stands for Water Only On Demand, Will be a Hands-Free Remote Control for Faucets

As a company spokesperson noted, the founders of FLOWE.green, which stands for "For the Love Of Water and Energy," understand that while most people want to be environmentally friendly and not waste water, they may not have the time or knowledge to effectively do it.
This inspired them to create the WooD, which will help save the Earth's dwindling water supply, one fixture at a time. The WooD is a hands-free remote control for faucets that works by installing a remote-controlled activator anywhere near a faucet - for example, on the floor or on a cabinet under the sink.
To turn the water on, people simply need to press the movable remote; once pressure is removed from the remote, the water will turn out. To fill a large vessel like a cooking pot, people will click on the remote two times, and then click on it once to shut it off.
"The WooD, which is pronounced 'Woody' saves trillions of gallons of water, and dramatically reduces your chances for cross contamination and exposure to the many pathogens on sink handles due to its hands-free technology," the spokesperson noted, adding that the WooD will be manufactured and assembled in California.
In order to help pay for the production costs associated with bringing the WooD to market, the founders of FLOWE.green recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, they hope to raise $10,000 through crowdfunding and help people save water and money on their utility bill.
