Partnership with Killbuck-Based Burgett Insurance Agency Builds on February Entry into Ohio Market
CARMEL, IN / ACCESS Newswire / September 29, 2026 / WalkerHughes Insurance ("WalkerHughes"), a privately held, founder-led retail insurance brokerage headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, today announced a new partnership with Burgett Insurance Agency, based in Killbuck, Ohio. The addition of Burgett further expands WalkerHughes' footprint in Ohio and builds upon the firm's continued growth in the state following its partnership with Sacksteder Worland Insurance Agency in Tiffin in February 2026.
The agency, owned by Cory Miller, has served Killbuck and the surrounding Holmes County community for generations, building lasting relationships with local families, businesses, municipalities and a community bank. Miller will remain with the agency, focused on serving clients and mentoring new team members.
