NFT GO: The Future of NFTs is Mobile

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 1, 2022 / NFT GO, one of the most downloaded mobile NFT marketplaces on the iOS App Store, has announced that it will now support peer-to-peer NFT sales directly from its mobile app. NFT GO is the first mobile platform to support this functionality.

This is a major milestone in the NFT space, which has thus far been dominated by web resale platforms like OpenSea, Superrare, and Axie Infinity. To note, none of the major web platforms have built any marketplace functionality into their mobile apps. OpenSea's app only allows users to browse NFTs, while Axie and Superrare have yet to launch mobile apps at all.

While the legacy providers compete for those high-ticket spenders on web, our target market is the 98% of people who've heard about NFTs and want to get involved but don't know where to start. Those people are on their phones."

"We want to be the Coinbase for NFTs," says NFT GO. "And, to do that, we need to build for the 98%. To that end, mobile is the way to go."

To date, NFT GO has seen significant growth in installs and earnings, powered by a marketplace where users can buy NFTs using native in-app purchases, rather than crypto.

"We make it possible to purchase NFTs using native in-app purchases because that's the most frictionless experience available on mobile. Users pay using a method they're familiar with, and we take care of the complex crypto transactions in the backend," says the NFT GO spokesperson.

When asked about future plans, NFT GO has remained relatively reserved.

"We're just getting started. We've got a long way to go, but we're in a space that's basically still nascent. We haven't seen anything yet."
