Financing led by Lifespan Vision Ventures with Participation from Lilly and HKX Capital

BOSTON, MA / ACCESS Newswire / August 10, 2026 / Remedium Bio, Inc. ("Remedium"), a biotechnology company developing durable protein therapeutics, today announced the initial closing of its planned $10 million Series A financing. The round is led by Lifespan Vision Ventures, with participation from Eli Lilly and Company ("Lilly") and HKX Capital. In connection with the financing, Harry Robb of Lifespan Vision Ventures has joined Remedium's Board of Directors.

Remedium's proprietary platforms are designed to enable durable, controlled expression of therapeutic proteins following a minimally invasive subcutaneous administration. By harnessing adipocytes as a durable site for therapeutic protein production, the platform has the potential to provide multi-year therapeutic benefit while allowing expression levels to be adjusted to optimize dosing for individual patients. The approach overcomes limitations of frequently administered biologics, including repeat injections and accompanying pharmacokinetic challenges.

Proceeds from the financing will support advancement of Remedium's lead programs, continued expansion of its platform technologies, and preparation for first-in-human clinical studies.

"The support of Lifespan Vision Ventures and our new and existing investors in this initial close reflects confidence in our platform, scientific progress, and the opportunity to redefine how chronic protein therapies are delivered" said Frank Luppino, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Remedium Bio. "With this financing, we are positioned to accelerate our lead programs and achieve several important development milestones. We look forward to completing the round with a select group of additional investors who share our vision for transforming the delivery of chronic protein therapies."

"Remedium has developed a differentiated platform with the potential to address significant limitations of chronic biologic treatment," said Andrew Worden of Lifespan Vision Ventures. "We are pleased to lead the Series A and support the company as it advances its pipeline, moves toward clinical development, and expands the breadth of its platform."

The financing builds on Remedium's recent progress across its proprietary pipeline, strategic collaborations, and preclinical development programs. The company expects the Series A to support multiple value-creating milestones and further demonstrate the potential breadth of its technology across cardiometabolic and other chronic diseases.
