Cognitive Space Awarded a SBIR D2P2 Contract to Research Automated Sensor Management of SDA's Fire Control Satellites

HOUSTON, TX / ACCESS Newswire / March 5, 2025 / Cognitive Space is excited to share its award of a SBIR Direct-To-Phase-2 contract in support of the Space Development Agency (SDA) for enhancing automated sensor management for missile tracking satellites.
This contract is focused on automated sensor management research for SDA's Fire Control satellites performing missile tracking. This project will advance AI algorithms to enhance the responsiveness and efficiency in sensor tasking, with the aim of ensuring effective tracking and custody of missile threats.
