Product Announcements
The Toronto-based parking assistant, available in seven cities across Canada and the United States, now estimates how much time finding parking may add to a trip and guides drivers all the way from departure to parked.
TORONTO, ON / ACCESS Newswire / October 14, 2026 / ParkUsher, the parking assistant app that turns confusing parking signs into clear red and green lines on a map, today announced the biggest update in its three-year history. Unveiled at the company's "Arrive Differently" keynote, the release introduces PU Insight, ParkUsher Navigation, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Delivery Mode. Together, they bring parking help into every stage of a trip, from planning the drive to being parked.
The update is available now on iPhone and Android. ParkUsher covers seven cities across Canada and the United States: Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, Boston, Seattle and San Francisco.
"Three years ago, we started ParkUsher with a simple belief: parking should not be this complicated," said Alireza Ziarizi, co-founder and CEO of ParkUsher. "Today is our biggest step yet toward a complete parking assistant. Everything we announced is built around one idea: parking help should begin before parking becomes a problem."
PU Insight: understand parking before you leave
Navigation apps tell drivers when they will reach an address, but reaching the address is not the same as being parked. PU Insight, launching in beta, estimates what parking will be like around a destination before the driver leaves.
It combines parking rules, time limits, local conditions and what other drivers experienced nearby at similar times. It then turns all of that into a simple recommendation, such as "parking may add about 18 minutes."
"You can reach the address on time and still be late," said Rayan Moarkech, co-founder and CTO of ParkUsher. "Traffic information helps you plan the drive. PU Insight helps you plan the time parking may add, while there is still time to act."
ParkUsher Navigation, now with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Drivers no longer need one app to navigate and another to park. ParkUsher Navigation lets them search for a destination, review the route with its PU Insight estimate, and drive with turn-by-turn guidance. As drivers approach their destination, relevant parking rules appear automatically on the map. The same experience now runs on the vehicle's display through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, one of the most requested features from ParkUsher users.
Delivery Mode: parking information for drivers on the job
Delivery drivers stop at address after address all day, often with only a few minutes to work out where they can legally stop. Delivery Mode changes the map to show what matters for their work: loading and unloading zones, pickup and drop-off areas, and short-duration parking. It also flags construction, street closures, major events and temporary restrictions that may affect a stop. The goal is less double parking, fewer illegal stops and fewer costly tickets. Delivery Mode is live in Montreal and being tested in Seattle and Toronto, with plans to expand to all seven ParkUsher cities.
