Tickets Are On Sale Now for a Full Weekend of Air-Cooled Porsche Culture, Motorsport History and Live Programming

ATLANTA, GA / ACCESS Newswire / September 10, 2026 / With one month remaining until Luftgekühlt 12 arrives at Town at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia, on Saturday, October 10, the final countdown is officially underway. Tickets are currently on sale for Luftgekühlt's Atlanta-area debut, which will welcome Hall of Fame racing driver and broadcaster Tommy Kendall as official host and spotlight significant road and racing Porsches across the air-cooled era. The California brand's presence in the heart of the American south has led to a sold-out display of incredible Porsches. Submissions to feature a car have now closed, while General Admission tickets remain available, giving fans the opportunity to experience the complete curated display alongside a full day of Porsche storytelling, live programming and automotive culture.

"With one month to go, you can really begin to feel the event taking shape," says Luftgekühlt and Air|Water Founder Patrick Long. "Luft has always been about more than assembling important cars. It is about finding new ways to share their stories and creating an environment where the people, history, art, and culture surrounding them can come together. Town at Trilith gives us an entirely new canvas, and with Tommy Kendall joining us as host, we are excited for everyone to experience what we have planned for Atlanta."

The countdown to Luft 12 follows a standout Monterey Car Week for Long, who raced across five classes and earned first-place finishes in Groups 7 and 9 at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Among the historically significant cars he drove were the legendary air-cooled Jägermeister Porsche 962 C-117 and mighty Porsche 935 K4. These appearances placed Luftgekühlt's celebration of Porsche motorsport, heritage and community at the forefront before its next major gathering across the coast at Town at Trilith, situated just South of downtown Atlanta.

For Porsche enthusiasts planning their Atlanta trip, Luft 12 offers the chance to experience the very best of Porsche's road and racing development. Complemented by a who's who lineup of Porsche icons, the event is designed for even a casual fan to leave with a newfound passion and knowledge. Highlights include a rare gathering of Porsche 935 racing cars marking the model's 50th anniversary, a celebration of 120 years of the Targa Florio, programming hosted by racing legend Tommy Kendall, curated automotive partner experiences and a full weekend built around the Porsche community. With the display field now set and the full experience taking shape, fans who have not yet secured their tickets have more reason than ever to join Luftgekühlt in Atlanta.

Building on this year's celebration of 75 years of Porsche motorsport, Hall of Fame racing driver and broadcaster Tommy Kendall will serve as the official host of Luft 12. Kendall became the youngest IMSA champion in history in 1986 and went on to earn multiple IMSA titles and four Trans Am championships. His career included a dominant 1997 season in which he won 11 consecutive races, cementing his place among the most accomplished American road racers of his generation. In 2000, "TK," as he is known, piloted a Porsche 993 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Following his racing career, Kendall transitioned into television and motorsport commentary and currently co-hosts The Torque Show. Throughout the day, Kendall will guide guests through programming, share insights on the featured automobiles and help introduce the stories and personalities who have shaped Porsche culture and motorsport, giving attendees the opportunity to experience the cars through the perspective of one of America's most accomplished racing personalities.

The event will unfold throughout Town at Trilith's streets, courtyards, gathering spaces and architecturally distinct surroundings. Located adjacent to Trilith Studios, the largest filmmaking campus in North America, Town at Trilith will provide a cinematic backdrop for vehicle displays, partner activations, hospitality, live programming and local food and beverage offerings. The layout has been thoughtfully designed to encourage guests to explore the campus while discovering different chapters of Porsche history throughout the day, from its humble origins in the 1950s to its dominant years of endurance racing through the 1990s. Rather than a traditional static automotive display, Luft 12 will invite attendees to move through an immersive environment where the cars, unique setting, and stories come together throughout the day.

The full partner lineup includes Porsche, Porsche Classic, Dunlop, Mobil 1, Hagerty, Broad Arrow Auctions, Singer Vehicle Design, TAG Heuer, Gunther Werks, GW9, Intercity Lines, Meguiar's, Ingram Experience, Ghas Water and Graham Rahal Performance. Each partner will contribute to the experience through a curated activation or on-site presence, adding another layer of automotive, lifestyle and hospitality programming for attendees to discover.

The weekend will officially begin on Friday, October 9, at 5:00 p.m. with the Opening Night Official Luftgekühlt Welcome Party. The separately ticketed event will provide an intimate start to the air-cooled weekend through a curated evening environment featuring hospitality, standout automobiles and an early look at Town at Trilith. For attendees looking to experience the complete Luft 12 weekend, the welcome party offers the opportunity to explore the venue and begin the celebration ahead of Saturday's main event.

Luft 12 will take place rain or shine on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Town at Trilith, located at 210 Trilith Parkway in Fayetteville, Georgia. Early Admission begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by General Admission at 10:00 a.m. Children under the age of 12 do not require a General Admission ticket when accompanied by a ticketed adult, and all Luft 12 tickets are non-refundable.

With the curated display field now sold out, Tommy Kendall confirmed as official host and a full weekend for programming taking shape, attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets and begin planning their Luft 12 weekend. Tickets are currently available here for the Opening Night Official Luftgekühlt Welcome Party on Friday, October 9, and Luft 12 on Saturday, October 10.
