The Las Vegas-based rapper outpaced bestselling albums from Eminem and Future on release day, earning the top spot among featured bestsellers in the Hip-Hop/Rap genre on Apple's iTunes music platform. The new project, released courtesy of Tripp's own Desert Money Media, Inc., marks the latest win in his rise as an independent artist fueled by the support of his global fanbase on social media.
Released on October 4, 2024, DESERT MONEY MIXTAPE marks Robbie Tripp's first collection of songs, an upbeat EP that includes the viral hit single "Big Girl Banger". The catchy body confidence track went viral on TikTok, where Tripp has amassed over 1M followers who tune in for his music and content. The rest of the extended play tracklist includes the new single "Gordita Gang", with an accompanying music video, as well as previously unreleased tracks such as "Paul Walker".
