The Weekend Welcomed an Incredible Crowd of Fans for a Weekend Rooted in Music, Conservation, and Community.
SAINT AUGUSTINE, FL / ACCESS Newswire / May 21, 2026 / Celebrated musician and passionate conservationist JJ Grey joined forces with the Live Wildly Foundation last weekend for two nights of soulful "swamp rock" along Florida's north coast, raising awareness and funding to protect the state's irreplaceable natural landscapes.
The concerts, held May 15 and 16, marked the third consecutive year Live Wildly has sponsored Grey's annual Blackwater Sol Revue, a celebration of blues, rock, and a deep love of nature. This year's run was also the first time Grey performed two separate shows along the Historic A1A. The first was an intimate VIP evening at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, where guests received an exclusive merchandise bundle including a live recording of the show delivered to their door on vinyl, a commemorative VIP laminate and lanyard, a tote, a Mountaineer water bottle, and custom protective earplugs. The second was a landmark night at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre featuring musical legends WAR and swing revival pioneers Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Together, the two events drew thousands of fans and reached an even wider audience through a charitable livestream on Volume.com, raising more than $1,100 in support of the Live Wildly Foundation.

In 2024, Grey became the first person to sign Live Wildly's pledge to "Join the Movement," a commitment to protect Florida's wild landscapes. For every person who signs the pledge, Live Wildly donates one dollar to conservation on their behalf. The campaign has generated more than $15,000 for on-the-ground conservation efforts over the past two years.

At the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Live Wildly hosted an educational booth where concert-goers could learn about the Florida Wildlife Corridor and other threatened lands and waters across the state. Fans also participated in a raffle-style giveaway featuring a concert poster signed by JJ Grey, along with merchandise from the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and the Live Wildly Foundation.
This year's events also showcased the work of Live Wildly Adventurist Alice Absolutely, a paint carver whose intricate artwork captures the fragile beauty of Florida's native wildlife and rapidly disappearing ecosystems. Live Wildly Adventurists are artists, writers, photographers, scientists, and nature lovers who share their connection to the outdoors to inspire others to engage in conservation.
