Transaction Represents the First Major License of Award-Winning EDGAR Filing Software to a Multiple Reporting Entity Filing Agent

San Diego, CA, September 6, 2013 – (Accesswire) ─ SEC Connect, LLC, a full-service SEC filing agent, today announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with a global financial printing company, representing one of the world’s largest financial printing groups.  The license agreement provides the company’s clients with access to SEC Connect’s innovative, award-winning Disclosure, Collaboration and Filing (DCAF) system, which will be rebranded as part of the arrangement.  The relationship was inaugurated with the onboarding of a Fortune 500 public company with over $5.0 billion in revenue and over 20 directors and officers.

“This particular licensee surveyed the market for self-filing EDGAR filing software, and considered developing its own, but determined instead to license SEC Connect’s DCAF filing system, as it concluded that DCAF was the most comprehensive, feature-rich and scalable self-filing software platform available for the most commonly filed SEC reports,” remarked Daniel W. Rumsey, the founder of SEC Connect and architect of DCAF. “We’re pleased that a financial printing company with such geographic reach and reputation selected DCAF – a decision that validates DCAF’s position as the leading EDGAR self-filing platform.” Mr. Rumsey concluded, “This licensing arrangement represents a significant step in our efforts to expose DCAF to a far greater universe of public companies, as well as their officers, directors and institutional investors, and is our first major step in our efforts to license DCAF to multiple reporting entity clients, such as EDGAR filing agents and law firms with numerous public company clients.”
