EL DORADO, AR / ACCESS Newswire / August 27, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who is proud to interview and honor Jerod Marsh for his distinguished contributions to piping design, engineering consulting, equipment layout, project management and industrial design services. Mr. Marsh's recognition reflects a 30-year career defined by technical precision, hard work, client trust and a commitment to building efficient design solutions before costly problems reach the field.

Mr. Marsh is the owner of Marsh Consulting LLC in El Dorado, Arkansas, a company he founded in 2022. Through the firm, he oversees business operations, manages customer demands, leads a team of eight employees and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. His work serves clients in Arkansas and extends into Texas, West Virginia, South Carolina, Florida and Oklahoma, reflecting both his regional roots and his growing reputation in industrial design and consulting.
Marsh Consulting LLC provides engineering design services for industrial, commercial and residential clients, including piping design, 3D modeling, laser scanning, 360-degree photos, 3D tours and civil engineering support. Its team has more than 100 years of combined experience across industrial settings and provides turnkey engineering design projects focused on safety, maintenance, constructability and budget. For Mr. Marsh, this approach is more than a service offering; it is a way to give clients confidence before construction begins.
In his Marquis Who's Who interview, Mr. Marsh summarized his company's value proposition simply: "We build it before you build it." By modeling, scanning and reviewing projects before work is put in place, his team can identify potential problems early, help clients walk through plants virtually, train operators and make changes before errors become expensive. As construction progresses, Marsh Consulting can laser-scan the work to confirm that it matches the design and catch discrepancies before they grow.
This technology-driven approach is supported by Mr. Marsh's hands-on expertise. While many larger firms hire outside crews to scan facilities, he brings project knowledge directly to the scanning process. "When I go out, I know the specific pipe routes, destinations and requirements, allowing me to focus and ensure accuracy," he said. "This helps me identify any mistakes or issues early." He also uses 3D photos and 4K-quality imagery to support real-time conversations with clients, allowing teams to review plants and project sites as if they were standing there together.
Before launching Marsh Consulting, Mr. Marsh served as department manager and piping design manager at The Systems Group in El Dorado from 2018 to 2022. There, he led design teams and managed complex projects while strengthening his expertise in structural steel and piping design. From 2015 to 2018, he held concurrent roles as a senior piping designer and design supervisor with Fluor/Plant Engineering Service, contributing to major projects including the Sasol expansion in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and the STAR project for Marathon in Texas City.
Mr. Marsh's academic foundation includes an associate degree in computer-aided design from ITT Technical Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His interest in the field began with an AutoCAD class in high school, which he enjoyed and continued to pursue as design technology evolved.
Speaking with Marquis Who's Who, Mr. Marsh says he sees continued innovation reshaping the field, including artificial intelligence, advanced laser scanning and drone-mounted inspection technology. While he believes AI may eventually route a large percentage of lines when properly configured, he emphasizes that experienced judgment remains essential for the final decisions. He also sees safety benefits in drones that can inspect tank interiors, reducing the need for workers to enter hazardous environments.
Mr. Marsh attributes his success to dedication, hard work and a genuine love of design. "I love coming up with a solution for problems," he said. "I think that's why I like doing it the most. I like creating something. I like making it work better than it did before." He takes pride in creating solutions, improving systems and helping clients make their projects work better than before. His greatest professional achievement is building a successful business that provides stable employment for eight people.
Looking ahead, Mr. Marsh aims to keep his employees satisfied, maintain strong client relationships and prepare for retirement while supporting his daughter, who is pursuing architectural studies at Tulane University. He hopes to pass the business to her if she chooses to continue the legacy.
"Jerod Marsh exemplifies the caliber of engineering design leader Marquis Who's Who is proud to chronicle," the editorial team stated. "His work in piping design, laser scanning and industrial project delivery reflects a career defined by precision, reliability and practical problem-solving." Through its interview and recognition of Mr. Marsh, Marquis Who's Who celebrates a professional whose leadership continues to help clients design smarter, build better and avoid costly mistakes before they happen.
