HURRICANE, UT / ACCESSWIRE / February 3, 2021 / At the open of 2021, small businesses are struggling to recover from the economic downfall that took place in 2020. Millions of people are left unemployed as thousands of businesses, some of those being family businesses that have been handed down for generations, continue to close their doors. In an effort to rescue some of those suffering, this not-for-profit initiative is on a mission to help 1,000 businesses end the struggle and make a comeback.

"So many overlook the importance of small businesses in our economy. When you consider that around 50% of America's workforce is employed by them, you realize small businesses aren't just important to our economy, they are our economy. That's why we're doing everything we can to help them, because, as it turns out, small businesses have a big impact. Aside from economic impact, small businesses are a big part of our communities. These are the same businesses that have been taking care of us for years. They're the ones that donate to all our community events and charities. They sponsor your kids little league team, the 4th of july firework show you enjoy every year, your local food pantry, you name it and the small businesses have probably supported it. That's why we all need to take a turn supporting them," says KC Evans, a business investor who founded this charitable operation officially being called The Rainmaker Mentality Initiative.
The initiative, whose mission is to help 1,000 small businesses recover from the pandemic, launched January 1st and will run for the entire year of 2021. They are helping small business owners in two ways.
The first way they're helping businesses is through the custom creation of recovery action plans called "War Maps." These action plans, which will be put together for each of the businesses that apply for the initiative, will help small businesses execute strategies to get more leads, increase sales, automate systems and processes, uncover new income-generating activities, etc. KC explained, "Many businesses believe that more cash will fix their problems. In some cases, they are right, but in most cases, they are wrong. With many struggling businesses, injecting cash into them would be like putting water into a leaky bucket, you need to patch the holes before filling it with water. That's why this initiative is helping business owners create these step-by-step action plans, we're essentially filling the holes, putting them in a better position to grow."
Second, the initiative has partnered with business investors that will be investing into some of the businesses that go through and implement their individual action plans they received. KC noted, "The goal isn't just to help businesses recover and survive, this initiative really wants to see these businesses grow and thrive and reach new heights."
Although the initiative hopes to rescue as many businesses from closure as possible, their official goal is to help 1,000 businesses this year. Applications are currently being accepted. For more information or to apply for assistance, visit RainmakerMentality.com.
