Fewer Than Three Percent of U.S. Dentists are Accepted for Fellowship in the International College of Dentists
SACRAMENTO, CA / ACCESS Newswire / June 17, 2026 / Dr. Andrea Joy Smith, DDS, has been accepted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) and will join the organization's Class of 2026.
The International College of Dentists is one of the world's oldest honorary dental organizations. Fellowship is extended by invitation to dentists who have demonstrated professional achievement, leadership, integrity, and service to the profession and their communities. Fewer than three percent of dentists in the United States have been accepted for Fellowship in the College.
The ICD USA Section Board of Regents approved Dr. Smith's candidacy for Fellowship in 2026. She is scheduled to be inducted during the College's Convocation later this year.
