Maine restaurant group's newest flagship earns regional recognition as a premier destination for live sports, dining, and entertainment
WESTBROOK, ME / ACCESS Newswire / July 1, 2026 / Cowbell, the Maine-based restaurant and sports bar group, received an unparalleled award at its flagship, Cowbell Rock Row. The newest location has been recognized as the best sports bar north of Boston by a few prominent New England media outlets.
Cowbell Rock Row is the most ambitious project in the group's history. Opening in April of 2023, the venue was designed as a destination-scale evolution of the Cowbell concept, better known as Cowbell 2.0. The upscale restaurant features a full performance stage, a large-format video wall, a live ticker showing scores, games, and betting lines, a private mezzanine function hall for events, and a members' bar section serving the venue's liquor locker program. The location sits across from the state's largest outdoor Quarry adjacent to an elite New England based supermarket, Market Basket.
The recognition comes as Cowbell Rock Row draws crowds for major sporting events, including The Super Bowl, March Madness, The Kentucky Derby, and most recently the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Rock Row flagship anchors a group that has grown from a single location about a decade ago to six locations and 100+ employees across Maine. Its established pubs in Biddeford and Scarborough built the brand's foundation and remain central to its identity.
