The Gun Box Sentinel Is A Free Standing Long Gun Box Designed To Fit Seamlessly Into Contemporary Settings
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 13, 2016 / The gun Box is proud to introduce The Gun Box Sentinel. The Gun Box Sentinel is a free standing gun safe that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and allows gun owners to hide their firearms in plain sight.
Contrary to guns locked in closets or in the basement, the sentinel was created to give homeowners a real chance of quickly accessing their firearms when they need them the most.
The sentinel utilizes biometric/fingerprint, RFID, and Bluetooth unlocking capabilities and the inner storage can accommodate rifles up to 39 inches in length. Inserts can be added to the sentinel for ammo, sidearms, and other home defense weapons.
A motion activated alarm sounds when the sentinel is bumped, moved, or pried, and the unit comes with tamper proof base mounts for the option of securing it to the floor.
The sentinel is configured by downloading the Safetech app where users can adjust the time out of the audible alarm, store up to 7 fingerprints to ensure a good read each time, and set up shared or timed access.

Standing over 43 inchestall and resembling a contemporary speaker, Hyde had the brilliant idea to build Bluetooth activated high-fi speakers into the unit to disguise its main purpose. Guests would likely assume it was a speaker or an air purifier, and thieves wouldn't know it was a stand-alone armory that can be accessed by the owner in just seconds.
The gun box sentinel comes in a variety of colors including carbon black, gunsmoke, billet grey, artic white, and bond black.
In order to offset some of the costs incurred during the design and creation of the Gun Box Sentinel, Hyde and his team have taken it to the pages of Indiegogo where they are seeking donations from investors. The team has already exceeded their initial goal, and they hope to raise enough funds to bring their product to mass production.
