VALENCIA, CA / ACCESS Newswire / September 1, 2026 / Megapixel™, a leading provider of professional LED display and processing technology, today announced the launch of GhostFrame® Pro, along with expanded LED tile and camera certification programs ahead of the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam.
Originally developed for film and broadcast, Megapixel's Emmy Award-winning GhostFrame technology enables production teams to capture multiple video feeds within a single production frame. GhostFrame enables multi-camera virtual production with invisible camera-specific content, embedded tracking, and discreet talent cueing - giving crews greater creative freedom, while enabling efficiency and preserving a seamless LED experience.
Introducing GhostFrame Pro
GhostFrame Pro, formerly known as GhostFrame, is the licensed version of the platform's most advanced technology. GhostFrame Pro includes the platform's complete feature set, supporting up to four independent video streams captured simultaneously by one or more cameras. As part of this update, all current Camera+ licensees will receive a no-cost upgrade to GhostFrame Pro. Camera Mode will be renamed GhostFrame and will remain available across all HELIOS-compatible LED tiles through the HELIOS v26.07.0 software release.

Expanded market reach and certification programs
Megapixel is expanding its GhostFrame Pro certification program to additional LED tile manufacturers, enabling more partners to co-engineer GhostFrame Pro-compatible LED tiles with Megapixel.
Megapixel is also launching a camera certification program to validate that participating camera systems meet the technical requirements of GhostFrame Pro workflows. To earn certification, cameras must meet key technical requirements, including: capture and output 2 or more feeds simultaneously from a single camera body, for the same production frame; hold a capture window short enough to keep those feeds cleanly separated at the frame rates submitted; capture cleanly at 24p, 30p, 48p, 50p and 60p; and show 2 or more feeds on a viewfinder or external monitor during operation, for evidence capture.

GhostFrame technology is already deployed across film, broadcast, and live-event environments.
