New Mobile App Puts Live Consumption, Overproduction and Scan Data in the Hands of Kitchen Managers, No Desk Required
SAN JOSE, CA / ACCESS Newswire / September 3, 2026 / Metafoodx, an AI-powered kitchen intelligence platform, today announced the launch of its iOS app, giving kitchen managers and chefs real-time access to their operation's data from anywhere in the venue.
Until now, checking consumption trends, overproduction or scan activity meant returning to a desk or dashboard. The Metafoodx app moves that same data onto a phone, so decisions that used to wait can happen on the floor, during service, when they matter most.

The app is organized around four areas of the kitchen manager's day:
Home, for an at-a-glance view of consumption and overproduction across venues, plus recent scanning activity.
Live View, showing real-time, menu-item level consumption and overproduction, filterable by cost or volume.
Scan Log, a real-time feed of individual scans for quick quality checks on the line.
Manage, for downloading and sharing reports directly from a phone.
The app displays live, same-day data, built for use during service rather than after it.

How to Get Started
Kitchen managers can download the app by searching "Metafoodx" in the App Store. Existing Metafoodx credentials work to sign in, including single sign-on for teams already using SSO. The Android version will be available soon.
