BASSETERRE, KN / ACCESS Newswire / June 12, 2026 / St. Kitts and Nevis will offer free biometric enrolment to citizens at its Investment Gateway Summit this summer, timed to coincide with the major international football tournament taking place in the United States, Canada and Mexico, when large numbers of St. Kitts and Nevis citizens are expected to travel to North America for the event.

The biometric capture is mandatory for every citizen ahead of issuance of the new national passport, and the Summit will host the enrolment facility on-site at no cost to attending citizens beyond standard agent fees.
With the tournament running from 11 June to 19 July across 16 cities, the Federation has timed the Summit to give citizens already in the region a short and economical route to a hop-over enrolment visit.
Enrolment will be administered by the Citizenship Unit, with biometric data captured in person and added to the citizen's record. The service is free of charge at the Summit, with citizens responsible only for any professional fees charged by their authorised agent for coordination or accompanying document work.
Citizens not attending the Summit will need to complete biometric enrolment through alternative channels announced by the Citizenship Unit, which may carry additional cost.
"Many of our citizens will be travelling to the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer for football, and we have timed the Investment Gateway Summit so they can complete their biometric enrolment at no cost while they are in the region," said H.E. Calvin St. Juste, Executive Chairman of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Unit.
"It is the most convenient and cost-effective opportunity our citizens will have to enrol for the new passport."
Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport sits within roughly three to four hours of the East Coast, with direct services from Miami, New York, Atlanta and Charlotte, and seasonal connections from Toronto. Citizens attending matches across North America can route a short onward leg to the Federation during the Summit window.
About the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Programme Established in 1984, the Federation's Citizenship Programme is the longest-running of its kind. Applications and citizen services are administered by the Citizenship Unit under the Office of the Prime Minister, working with a global network of authorised agents.
