WALNUT CREEK, CA / ACCESS Newswire / July 14, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who is proud to honor Christina McKenzie for her distinguished contributions to legal services, paralegal support, case management and notary services. Ms. McKenzie's recognition reflects a career defined by persistence, attention to detail, professional development and a commitment to learning from every experience. Her dedication continues to strengthen legal teams and support the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Ms. McKenzie currently serves as a senior case manager and paralegal at Blackstone Global® in Walnut Creek, California, a role she began in 2025. In this position, she supports legal matters involving general contractors, developers and subcontractors, while communicating with attorneys and helping ensure that all parties remain informed throughout the legal process. Her responsibilities require organization, accuracy, discretion and the ability to manage details that are critical to successful legal work.

Before joining Blackstone Global®, Ms. McKenzie served as a paralegal at Valerian Law P.C. in Berkeley from 2023 to 2025. There, she supported attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research and managing case files. Her work helped streamline workflows and support effective case outcomes. From 2022 to 2023, she worked as a case analyst at Berding Weil in Walnut Creek, where she analyzed complex legal matters and supported attorneys handling community association law matters.

In an interview with Marquis Who's Who, she mentioned that one of her most notable professional achievements came during her time at Berding Weil, when she identified a need for accessible notary services. With many notaries working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, she recognized that clients and colleagues would benefit from having someone available in the office. Although becoming a notary was not required for her role, she proactively obtained her notary public commission through the National Notary Association in 2022. She has since maintained and renewed that commission, continuing to provide notarization support for family and friends as well as professional settings.

Earlier in her career, Ms. McKenzie served as a litigation paralegal at Bledsoe, Diestel, Treppa & Crane LLP in Walnut Creek in 2021, supporting litigation teams with discovery and trial preparation. She began her legal career as a business immigration coordinator at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP from 2019 to 2021, coordinating immigration matters for corporate clients and helping ensure regulatory compliance. These roles gave her a broad foundation across immigration, litigation, community association law and construction-related legal services.

Ms. McKenzie's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from California State University, East Bay, and a certification in paralegal studies from the same institution. She is currently working toward becoming a certified paralegal. After several years in the field, she views being certified as the next important step in upgrading her professional standing and deepening her expertise.

An active member of NALA, The Paralegal Association, Ms. McKenzie remains committed to professional development and engagement with peers in the legal field. She recognizes the importance of AI in increasing efficiency while stressing that it won't replace paralegals. "No one expects it to replace roles like paralegals," she said. "We were advised to use AI to improve efficiency. However, errors can occur, and I often find that the information it provides is incorrect, so it requires correction. AI will never be perfect."

Ms. McKenzie attributes her success to constructive feedback, resilience and a willingness to keep learning. She values input from supervisors and colleagues and has carried those lessons across each role. As for those entering the legal field, she advises them to find their niche. "The legal field is very broad, with many topics to choose from," she said. "You need to identify what interests you and try new things. Stay curious, lean into discomfort, and remain humble, because you don't know everything."

Looking ahead, Ms. McKenzie hopes to assume a supervisory role in the legal field, such as a supervising or managing paralegal, while earning full paralegal certification. She remains focused on building her skills, supporting attorneys and clients, and continuing to mature as a professional.

"Christina McKenzie exemplifies the caliber of legal services professional Marquis Who's Who is proud to chronicle," the editorial team stated. "Her work as a paralegal, case manager and notary reflects a career defined by diligence, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement."
