Jewellery house, owned by Mephexus Group - house of premium and luxury brands, will present three collections set with ZEVERRA™ stones, each accompanied by an individual certificate and a lifetime guarantee on the stone.
ROME, IT / ACCESS Newswire / October 7, 2026 / Luce di Monti will introduce its first three collections on 1 November 2026. Each piece is made in 18K gold vermeil and set by hand with a ZEVERRA™ stone, and is accompanied by a certificate identifying the individual stone it contains.
The ZEVERRA™ stone is grown over a period of weeks and cut by hand. It carries a refractive index of 2.65, compared with 2.42 for diamond, and a dispersion of 0.104 compared with 0.044, returning more than twice the colour to the eye. It measures 9.25 on the Mohs scale, placing it among the hardest materials used in jewellery.
The certificate issued with each piece records the stone set into it. When the owner registers that certificate, the stone is covered by a guarantee for the life of the piece, with no expiry date and no renewal requirement. Guarantees in the sector conventionally cover manufacturing defects for a fixed term and exclude the stone.
"The properties of the material determined the structure of the house," said Dimitrios Pliatsios, CEO of Mephexus Group. "A stone with a higher refractive index returns more light, and a stone at 9.25 on the Mohs scale holds its surface over decades. Those two facts are what made a lifetime guarantee possible to offer, and everything else we decided followed from them."
The three collections are Lume, a range of everyday pieces; Costellazione, a family of rings and bangles with centre-stone designs and bands cut to sit flush against one another; and Splendore, a suite comprising a necklace, long earrings and a bracelet. All three are produced in yellow gold, rose gold and silver finishes. Distribution will be direct rather than through retail partners.
