The seasonal selection brings new looks to a range built around fine camel undercoat, organic cotton and practical garment details, including a NAPPA-winning walker.
HONG KONG / ACCESS Newswire / October 5, 2026 / Kaiya Baby is adding autumn and winter prints and colours to its camel wool sleep sack range, pairing seasonal designs with a filling made from fine camel undercoat and SORONA® polyester. The selection includes Pumpkin Dots, Spark Dots, Forest Green, Mocha Brown, Skiing Goose and Sunny Pup across long-sleeve sleep sacks and separate-leg walkers, with styles in the wider collection available in 1.0, 2.5 and 3.5 TOG.
The update brings patterns and solid shades to a collection that includes Kaiya Baby's 2025 NAPPA-winning 1.0 TOG long-sleeve walker. Beneath the cotton prints, the range has a specific material story: soft inner undercoat selected from a camel's seasonally shed coat, blended with polyester and formed into a filling layer by needle-punching. The camel wool collection is available at https://kaiyababy.com/collections/camel-wool-sleep-sacks.
Fine camel undercoat, blended for everyday use
The camel wool in Kaiya Baby's filling comes from the fine inner undercoat. This sits beneath the camel's coarser outer guard hair, which is thicker and stiffer. Kaiya Baby separates the fine wool from the coat camels shed seasonally, selecting the soft inner fibre for use inside the sleep sack.
The filling combines 30% camel wool with 70% SORONA® polyester. Kaiya Baby describes the blend as a way to bring together the undercoat's softness and warmth with the structure needed for everyday care. The brand uses SORONA® polyester to help the filling retain its loft and recover through washing. Its material page also describes the camel wool's role in buffering moisture vapour within the filling layer.
From loose fibres to a filling layer
Kaiya Baby's filling begins as loose fibre. The process separates the fine camel wool from coarse hair, cleans it, and blends it with SORONA® polyester. The blended fibres are then formed into a layer that can be incorporated into the sleep sack.
The brand uses needle-punched construction for this step. Fine barbed needles help the fibres interlock through the layers, giving the fibre web structure without relying on spray adhesive to hold it together. Kaiya Baby explains the fibre selection, blend, and construction on its camel wool page.
Cotton at the surface, camel wool within
Kaiya Baby uses 100% organic cotton on the outer layer of its camel wool range. The Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG long-sleeve sleep sack and walker also have 100% organic cotton linings. In these two styles, the camel wool blend is enclosed between cotton layers.
The autumn and winter prints and solid colours appear on the cotton shell. No dye is added to the camel fibre itself: it retains its natural camel colour inside the garment.
Garment details across the range
The collection includes long-sleeve sleep sacks, sleeveless styles, separate-leg walkers and a 3-in-1 sleep suit sack. The Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG walker has Grow-With-Me leg snaps for adjusting length, while the Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG long-sleeve sleep sack has fold-over cuffs. The Sunny Pup long-sleeve sleep sacks in 1.0, 2.5, and 3.5 TOG also feature an underarm design intended to provide flexibility.
The updated 1.0 TOG long-sleeve sleep sack has an unfilled back and arms. Its product page explains that original and updated versions are being sold during the inventory transition, so either version may be supplied. The Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG walker also has an unfilled back and arms.
Both Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG styles are machine washable. Their care instructions cover fastening zips, using a laundry bag and mild detergent, and drying on low heat or on a line. These practical details sit alongside the material specifications on the individual product pages.
A colour cue on the garment
The Sunny Pup 1.0 TOG long-sleeve sleep sack and walker carry a temperature-sensing sticker, with a colour scale running from blue through yellow and orange to dark red. The colour-changing feature is part of the garment design and is also mentioned in the published evaluation of the NAPPA-winning walker.
Recognition for the 1.0 TOG walker
Kaiya Baby's Organic Cotton & Camel Wool Long Sleeve Sleep Sack Walker 1.0 TOG was named a2025 NAPPA Awards winner in the Best for Baby category.
NAPPA's published evaluator comments address both the feel of the material and the garment's features. One reads: "Is super soft, warm without being heavy and also breathable." Another notes: "The temperature sensor sewn in is really cool." The award listing gives readers an outside evaluation of the named walker alongside Kaiya Baby's own product descriptions.
Materials and guidance alongside the collection
Kaiya Baby publishes the outer fabric, filling composition and fibre information separately, so families can look up what each part of a sleep sack contains. Its material page covers where the camel wool comes from, how the filling is assembled and whether dye is added to the fibre.
Kaiya Baby's TOG guide, published in 2026, cites The Lullaby Trust and discusses insulation, room temperature and clothing layers. It sits alongside the sizing, design and care information on product pages as a resource for families choosing among the range's different styles and TOG ratings.
