Company Update
New character gives a face to the company's reputation management and content removal work, launching with eight poses across the site and customer communications
MIAMI, FL / ACCESS Newswire / August 18, 2026 / Erase.com, a global reputation management company helping individuals, professionals, and businesses control how they appear online, today announced the launch of Raser, the company's first official brand mascot.
Raser is a small blue eraser with a red cap, introduced as the company's "Chief Erasing Officer." He is designed to make Erase.com's technical, often stressful removal work easier to understand and easier to trust, starting with clients who are, in many cases, reaching out on one of the worst days of a very difficult month.
A Name Built to Do Double Duty
The name Raser comes from "eraser" with the first letter dropped, pronounced RAY-sir. It also echoes "racer," a nod to the fact that removal work rewards speed: the sooner harmful content is challenged, the less time it has to spread. The character is built on the shape of a classic rectangular eraser, illustrated with enough warmth to avoid feeling like a typical corporate icon.
Why Now
Erase.com says the mascot addresses two recurring challenges the company has faced over more than fifteen years in business. First, reputation management can sound intimidating or overly technical to people unfamiliar with the industry, even though the underlying work, including platform policy violations, legal takedown routes, de-indexing requests, and content suppression, is a defined, learnable process. Second, the reputation management industry has a trust problem, with some companies promising guaranteed removals they cannot deliver or charging upfront for work that never happens. Erase.com positions Raser as a way to reinforce clear, honest communication at every step of a case.
Raser's personality is built around four traits: he is protective of clients' reputations, efficient in how he communicates, consistently trustworthy (including a willingness to deliver bad news when a removal isn't possible), and confident in his work.
Eight Poses, Eight Moments
Raser launches with eight core poses, each tied to a specific stage of the customer experience so his posture communicates status at a glance:
The Guardian: Hands on hips; the character's default appearance across the site.
The Cleaner: Mid-run with negative content scattering behind him; represents active removal work in progress.
The Scout: Holding a magnifying glass over a search result; represents the research phase of a case.
The Greeter: Waving; used for onboarding and welcome moments.
The Approver: Thumbs up; reserved for confirmed, completed outcomes.
The Uncertain: A shrug; used on error pages and in situations where content cannot be found or removed.
The Director: Pointing; used for tooltips and callouts that need explaining.
The Off-Duty: Asleep; used for maintenance windows and offline hours.
Where Raser Will, and Won't, Appear
Raser will appear across onboarding flows, empty states, error pages, email headers, and select blog content, positioned alongside the Erase.com wordmark rather than replacing it. The company confirmed Raser will not appear on legal pages, terms and conditions, privacy policy, or pricing pages, which are intended to remain plain and neutral. Erase.com also stated the character will never be used to make light of a client's situation.
A Statement, Not a Rebrand
"Raser Erases" now serves as the company's core brand statement. Erase.com emphasized that the mascot launch does not represent a rebrand or a change to its team, process, or results, only a new way of communicating the work the company has always done.
"Raser is not a gimmick and he is not a rebrand. What changes is that the hardest part of our work to explain now has a face attached to it, and that face is on your side." Victoria Marshall, Marketing and Brand Manager, Erase.com
