LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 5, 2022 / Effective Health Systems (EHS), the leading digital workflow automation company modernizing how insurance claims are processed, announced a leadership promotion in its executive team.

Chief Revenue Officer, Don Adams, has been promoted to President of Effective Health Systems.
As President, Adams will oversee the strategic planning and execution of EHS's growth objectives for delivering the entire product and solutions portfolio of EHS to all its customers.
In making the announcement, EHS' Chief Executive Officer James Schlueter noted, "Mr. Adams has proven himself a committed leader. He's driven to deliver practical, affordable solutions to executives dealing with complex issues."
Adams said, "Claim executives require systems that can coordinate multiple systems, automate workflows, provide just-in-time intelligent decision support services and integrate data from disparate software applications. While this requires sophisticated software and a strong technical team, EHS has proven this task doesn't have to be overly complicated or expensive to implement."
Adams said, "Senior claim executives facing tough issues. They are looking at 40,000 open claims positions, a turnover rate that is almost 100%, and a business market where buyers demand new solutions from their claim management vendors. Many executives report innovation efforts that fall short, take too long and cost too much." Adams noted that in his experience, "these problems tend to be related to ineffective change strategies."
Schlueter said, "Executives can no longer think about the job as we did in the early 2000s. Studies have shown that when executives fail to think through the innovation process fully, most initiatives fail to internal resistance to change. That's where our launchpad process helps executives achieve success. It maps the process and visualizes the larger picture of what the innovation will look like when completed. At that point, executives can scale the project to their tolerance level while not foreclosing future opportunities."
Schlueter, who has consulted the workers' comp market since 1989, said, "What's important about innovation is that it has become the table stakes for staying in the game. Failure to invest in innovation will likely result in losing your seat. Unfortunately, over-investing can be just as costly. It's a classic caught between a rock and hard spot situation. I've watched Don thread this needle for our clients. He understands the stakes our clients are playing for and how to help them rejuvenate their company's performance."
