Veteran plaintiff-side litigator brings 30 years of practice and a record of eight-figure jury results to the firm's employment group
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA / ACCESS Newswire / October 9, 2026 / Omega Law Group has announced today that Jason L. Oliver has joined the firm as Senior Employment Attorney. Oliver has practiced law for 30 years and has represented employees almost exclusively since 2003. At Omega, he will handle high-value harassment, discrimination and retaliation cases (FEHA and Whistleblower retaliation law).
Oliver was a member of the litigation, trial, and appellate team in Glick/Garcia v. City of Los Angeles, in which the Second District Court of Appeal reinstated a $13.1 million jury verdict for their clients in 2026. Oliver also sought and obtained a $1.4 million attorney's fees and costs award on top of the jury's verdict.*
His settlement results include $6.5 million and $2.2 million in recent matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and $2.65 million in a 2025 whistleblower retaliation case under California Labor Code section 1102.5.*
Oliver's practice covers sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, disability discrimination, and wrongful termination claims, at every stage from trial and arbitration through writs and appeals. He has served on dozens of trial and arbitration teams and has handled matters before the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.

He earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1996. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern District(s) of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
