The New Game Lets Players Be Part of the Political Action

"Are you a lover of politics, wishing you could take part in the action?" asked a spokesperson for the new game, adding that the team at Parachute Games is making that happen with Special Committee, a political strategy, bluffing and hidden identity game where players take on the role of major political figures and attempt to pass important legislation.
"Players get to enjoy both the light and dark side of politics. Your goal is to pass the most legislation important to your senators or simply remain the last one standing while others fall prey to scandals and accusations."
Players will have two hidden senator cards, and their foes will try to reveal the cards and knock other players out of office, the spokesperson said. They will get to play as modern politicians dealing with issues that reflect current events. The game is designed for two to five players, and the cards feature current U.S. politicians.
"Not only will it be a chance to have fun with your political passions, you'll be able to share it with friends and maybe spark their interests."
In order to help pay for the production costs associated with Special Committee, Taylor and his team from Parachute Games recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. They hope to raise $65,000 through crowdfunding, which will also ensure the highest quality experience.
"Backers will be able to enjoy some awesome perks, including a card with a character of your choosing, and maybe even illustrated to look like you," the spokesperson said.
