Speaking about "This Season (In This World Together,)" the songwriting duo shared their thoughts: "This is a song of comfort and hope. It's a reminder that despite differences and divides around the world, there is still much goodness that unites humanity."
John Torres, an Angeleno has released four studio albums as well as numerous singles and music videos. His music draws on influences from a wide variety of different genres including Folk, Pop, and even Opera and has been featured in MTV's "The Real World," "From D.C., with Love," "Alias," "Felicity" and many other popular television shows and movies. Torres has shared the stage with artists like Shawn Colvin and Sara Bareilles and has received numerous honors including a John Lennon Songwriting Award, an American Independent Music Award nomination and a short listing for Best Original Song by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
As an actor, Torres originated the original lead role of Drew in the first ever production of the now Broadway hit musical and film "Rock of Ages." He also co-starred as Peter in the first major production of the musical "Bare: A Pop Opera" (Nominated for 18 Ovation Awards).
"This Season (In This World Together)" is now available on all digital streaming and retail platforms. It has also been serviced to over 700 commercial radio stations (various formats) that program holiday music in the US & Canada.
