The PrimeObserver® concept has real people participating in real events while capturing it all discreetly on film

The wearable technology captures first person perspectives in a 360 degree platform. By placing cameras discreetly across the body, "Prime Observers" can not only record events as they happen in real time, but actually become the camera inside those events.

Jensen and his team boast more than 150 years of combined documentary production experience. They cut their teeth as photojournalists at historical events like the conflict in Northern Ireland, but were always disturbed by the limitation that they could only observe events as they happened, not participate in them.
"I see an opportunity to create a new discipline of a profession," says Jensen. "We can fully rig out individuals who know how to be in the right place at the right time for when things happen."
By inserting Prime Observers into a myriad of possible events, they can participate while recording; all the while preventing journalistic roadblocks such as heavy equipment, restricted access, or even people modifying their behavior to be perceived a certain way on camera.
"Virtual reality is a whole new medium to record history. We know where to place the camera to capture "the moment" but now we ourselves will become that camera inside that moment. Filmmaking will ever be the same," says Jensen.
In order to mitigate the inevitable challenges of brining a new technology to market, Jensen and his team have taken their project to Indiegogo where they hope to raise the funds necessary to expand on the PrimeObserver® concept.
As "Point of View" filming gains increasing momentum among videographers, the PrimeObserver® project intends to be the next step in the evolution of documentary filmmaking.
