The New Film Tells the Very Personal Story about a Dream that the Director Had about Her Late Mom

As a spokesperson for the moving new film noted, the bond between mother and daughter is often one which is full of love and understanding unlike any other.
In 1997, De Fabrizio tragically lost her own mother in an accident. Nearly 20 years later, she had a dream about her mother which inspired her so much that she knew she had to create a story from it.
Mother's Day Dream is a short film written, produced, and directed by De Fabrizio, and an artistic translation of the dream onto film. It is, by all means, a passion project. De Fabrizio is willingly putting everything into getting this film done.
"The story follows a woman's dreams, as they navigate through heartbreak and inspiration," the spokesperson said, adding that in the film, the woman awakens feeling new conviction, understanding the strong messages which were conveyed to her, including a beautiful and uplifting communication with her mother.
De Fabrizio encountered some difficulties in her first attempt creating the film, but is regrouping with a new crew on board and is optimistic that this film will get finished and be entered in a film festival.
In order to help pay for the production costs associated with re-filming the movie, De Fabrizio recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. She hopes to raise $5,500 through crowdfunding to help recast some of the characters and spending more time reshooting the project.
"I use an F65 camera and a dolly for long shots, and this requires insurance, rental fees, and everybody in crew and actors gets paid to do it except me and the cinematographer who is donating his time because we were not able to finish it," De Fabrizio noted.
