March 5th Candlelight Ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial
WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / March 1, 2022 / Rami's Health Covid-19 Memorial, the first permanent national COVID-19 memorial in the US, a non-profit 501c3 organization, in collaboration with public charity, Art of the Matter's COVID-19 Hope Quilt, present A Pandemic Remembrance Ceremony in honor of heroes, survivors and those who lost their lives at the hands of the COVID-19 global pandemic. This memorial event is set to take place on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on the evening of March 5th, 2022 at 5:00 pm.

This inaugural event is to acknowledge the two-year anniversary of the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. The gathering at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington aims to recognize the impacts of the last two years while also demonstrating support for the establishment of a federally recognized COVID Memorial Day which is receiving support from politicians in both the House and Senate.
Organizers of the event call anyone and everyone to gather together to remember those lost to the pandemic while also honoring the sacrifices made by frontline healthcare and essential workers. The pandemic has touched everyone in this country and the event's mission is to acknowledge the survivors on their arduous journey ahead in their healing,

A message of unity and hope to the community
The candlelight ceremony already boasts a dozen supporting non-profit organizations that will be joining the event as co-sponsors. The vigil will also be broadcast to thousands online via Facebook & Instagram.
Art of the Matter's & COVID Hope Quilt will be displaying an impressive 8 foot by 30 foot Letters of the word "HOPE" covered with portraits of frontline workers and those who have been lost to the pandemic on the Lincoln Memorial. The massive mural will travel to New Jersey after the Washington D.C. event with a further display at Rami's Heart Covid-19 Memorial on March 19th at A Night of Remembrance Event.
Organizers of the event urged people to join in this is a special moment in history and in honor of heroes, survivors and those lost to ensure lives and contributions are honored and not forgotten.
About Rami's Heart Covid-19 Memorial & COVID Hope Quilt
Rami's Heart COVID-19 Memorial is a non-profit organization that is working to spread a message of hope and compassion by remembering those lost to COVID-19. Through advocacy and fundraising, their team is working tirelessly each day to contribute their time and talents for the greater good.
On September 17th, 2021 Rami's Heart Covid-19 Memorial had an unveiling ceremony of the permanent memorial located at Allaire Community Farms, in Wall Township, NJ. This made it the first permanent national Covid-19 memorial in the U.S. Since then they continue to receive names daily and ensure they are represented as well.
The Hope Quilt is a national memorial project to commemorate frontline workers who have faced extraordinary challenges during COVID-19 and to honor others who have been affected by or lost to the pandemic. Worldwide, people have contributed to this community art project, telling their stories through art and remembering their sacrifices.
