TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 27, 2020 / With many emerging new artists in the Toronto hip hop scene, Keyon is an artist you must watch. Keyon is all about stretching his rapping capabilities in all different spaces of hip hop music and its subgenres. Keyon started out as a producer eventually landing placements with artist like rappers Kofi, Dax & Many other talented artists. Eventually his passion for beat making would shift into him producing his debut EP titled "The Intro" where he produced, mixed and mastered the entire project himself. Keyon says "that entire project is a great project to look back to, I can definitely see a lot of mistakes which is great, because without mistakes there is no room to grow"
Keyon put out his last mixtape "Summers Not Over" back in 2018 which featured 9 tracks. Keyon explained that this mixtape he spent more time on writing then producing on this project. His production aesthetics can be paralleled to the likes of Drake, The Weeknd and Travis Scott who are also a few of his biggest musical inspirations.
His latest single "Fly Out" features a soft melodic chorus, dabbling in the singy rap realm of rap, he plans to release an abundance of singles to build hype for his next project scheduled to release in the summertime.
Overall Keyon is an artist that people across the globe should familiarize themselves with as he is soon to be the newest, most impactful artist to hit the music industry.
