"We're thrilled to support the Kids In Need Foundation as we also launch our ‘Back to Pool' campaign and continue our mission of promoting water safety and skill development," said Ashley Gundlach, President of British Swim School. "Through our year-round swim programs and support for Kids In Need Foundation, we are ensuring the safety and confidence of our students in the water and in the classroom. We invite all families to join us in both initiatives and help us create waves of confidence in our communities."
For more than 40 years, British Swim School has improved swimming abilities for students of all ages with their trained instructors, small class sizes, and individualized attention. More than 315 locations across the country provide more than one million lessons a year. The swim franchise is also using this time to remind parents and children of the importance of swim lessons year-round and not just leading up to the summertime.
"Swimming is an important, life-saving, skill that doesn't take a break for any seasoon!", said Melissa McGarvey, Director of Aquatics. "British Swim School understands this and promotes the importance of practicing water survival and swimming skills year round to best prepare for a water emergency, any time of year. Not only do consistent swim lessons better prepare swimmers, they also foster a child's relationship with water and ease anxieties from younger swimmers that may not have been in the water for months."
