Apprentice By Blood Tells the Story of Two Men Who Find a Time Hole in a Bathroom Wall
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 8, 2016 / Jason Albury from Port Melbourne, Australia, is pleased to announce the creation and launch of his short science fiction film Apprentice By Blood. The film will be completely shot on 35mm film with the Arricam ST.

As a spokesperson for Apprentice By Blood noted, the film will take a fascinating look at "time holes" and the impact they have on two men. In the story, the Government is warning people not to look into these mysterious time holes, because knowing the past or future can make them mentally unstable.
"Imagine a world where time has become fragmented, where 'time holes' pop up unexpectedly and allow anyone to look into either the future or past if one dares to face the psychological consequences," the spokesperson said, adding that thanks to the ingenuity of a young and talented team, this story is being brought to screen.
"Apprentice By Blood focuses on a man named George and his apprentice Kyle, as they discover a time hole in a bathroom they're working in when one of them breaks a hole in the wall. What they see is one of their deaths, and what they must decide to do is whether or not to try to stop it, or let the chips fall where they may."
In order to help pay for the production costs associated with creating Apprentice By Blood, Albury recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. He hopes to raise $4,581 through crowdfunding.
"We're so excited to start shooting because you will soon find out that this film will, in no way, be like your usual short film format," Albury said, adding that the bathroom that the characters will interact in will be a completely built set, with all the walls being easily movable so that the crew can shoot in any direction.
"We will also be shooting on glorious 35mm film, giving this the raw and sometimes gritty look that we've all known and loved from our favourite films in the past."
