Sarasota Realtor, Katy McBrayer, Recently Spoke with the News Website Unravel About Her Life, Career and how Sarasota has Captured Her Heart
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 18, 2015 / There is no other town in the world for Katy McBrayer. Sarasota is her town, and she loves it. Having moved away from the area and lived across the country as well as the globe, McBrayer said that Sarasota has grown up so much since she was a child. In a recent Unravel interview featuring Katy McBrayer, the real estate agent with REMAX Alliance Group in Sarasota talks about the city, its people and why she loves Sarasota.
"It's been really inspiring to see how many young people are [making a name for themselves] here in town now," said McBrayer in the Unravel interview. "We really do live in a great, beautiful place."
However, that was not always McBrayer's opinion of her now-beloved city. Her teen years saw some turmoil, eventually leading to McBrayer in a boot camp for troubled teens. Even though she turned her life around, receiving a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship and being asked to speak to other teens at the boot camp, she still ended up leaving the Sarasota area.
McBrayer went to Austin, Texas, after high school. She did return to Florida to complete her college education, but left again for Germany.
"I met a guy while in Miami who was a professional soccer player, and I moved to Germany with him," said McBrayer. "When the relationship didn't work out and I was going back home, I knew Miami was no longer the place for me."
She returned to Sarasota to make a name for herself. To do so, she became a real estate professional. McBrayer said that the 9 to 5 office life was not for her. But working with her clients and showing them her beautiful city is her passion. She loves being able to help others discover Sarasota.
The way McBrayer sees it, Sarasota will keep growing in innovation and size. She said she thinks that the influx of young professionals and families will continue. She said she is looking forward to investing more into her city and helping others do the same by finding the ideal home for them.
