Lorraine has been at the forefront of customer communications for over twenty years. Her true passion lies in serving her customers and serving her people. She has led operations for local and global companies and has lived and travelled all around the world to pursue and grow this passion. In earlier roles, she has successfully initiated and delivered change transformation programs with a positive impact on the bottom line, including increased profit margins, measurable improvements in service levels, and high staff retention/satisfaction rates aligned through robust change and risk management frameworks.

Having started out in a particularly male-dominated IT/Technology industry in the ‘90s, she understands what it is to work hard for her career. She had to fight and sacrifice to get to the management level, and she was told that she was a risk and would need to prove her worth. And even at 19 years old, she did just that. One of the things she mentioned is, over the years, she noticed how much harder her female colleagues needed to work than their male counterparts in order to prove themselves. A few years later, Lorraine shifted to the Finance industry, where she met with the same male dominance she had experienced previously and had to start from the ground up. Since then, she said that the equality climate has changed in those companies that lead with Diversity and Inclusion at the forefront of their operation. It became easier for women to grow within their respective industries and taken more seriously.

Since her early days, Lorraine has grown from strength to strength and has been a true inspiration for young people, especially women, entering the workplace. Sharing some of her insights, Lorraine emphasised that, when entering or returning to the workplace, one should keep their passion for what they bring, be confident in their abilities, and always be curious. The biggest piece of advice she has for all employees is to be yourself. Never try to be who you are not, and you will always succeed. By all means, learn new skills and take advantage of opportunities, but always stay true to yourself.

As for Lorraine's global operations plans, she is ready and eager to take full accountability for creating an operating model across all global locations. She plans to include people, processes, technology, and clients. By combining the various locations under a tight operations initiative, she knows the growth plan will be a success.

Noon Dalton is beyond excited to have such a diligent, resolute, and knowledgeable addition to its executive team. They look forward to seeing the changes she will make. A special thank-you needs to be mentioned to "The Naked Headhunter" for recommending Lorraine.
