CALGARY, AB / ACCESSWIRE / February 13, 2023 / Innovative Licensing and Promotion Inc. has announced that the company is partnering with the inventor of the Regenesis Waste Air Flow Capture System to patent and bring the product to market. Developed by inventor and entrepreneur Perry Martens, Regenesis features an innovative technology capturing the waste airflow that is continuously exhausted by HVAC and refrigeration units.
The patented Regenesis waste air flow capture system is powered by the waste airflow of these units and converts this power to usable electricity. This electricity can be either stored in a battery for future use or returned to the grid. The Regenesis waste air flow capture system can be cost-effectively applied to any HVAC or refrigeration unit. The system can be used to not only save energy and contribute it back to the grid but can also help to reduce the carbon footprint of these units.
In light of the increasing impact of climate change and concern about sustainability, such products will definitely gain traction in the coming years. Currently, Perry Martens has developed working prototypes of the unit and tested them thoroughly.

At least 200 clients come to me every week with ideas, but I felt Perry's idea was really promising. We see these huge fans linked to HVAC units like refrigerators and ships everywhere but the concept of capturing energy from the air they generated has never occurred to us. We first had to verify if his idea was original by checking through patents that had been filed at the US Patent & trademark office. We then filed a patent. Many patent applications get rejected, but we were able to get a patent for Regenesis. Perry managed to raise capital from several investors including me and has now developed these prototypes and tested them. He will be showcasing the product and hopefully securing a licensing deal at the forthcoming AHR Expo which will be held in Atlanta from February 6 to 8."
