Cal Coast Companies partners with the City of San Leandro for Extensive Redevelopment of San Leandro Marina Park

SAN LEANDRO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 10, 2023 / Cal Coast Companies announced today an exciting new project that will be launched in early 2024 at the San Leandro Marina Park. The integrated master planned development, a public/private partnership with the City of San Leandro, aims to revitalize the 52-acre area surrounding the marina, and create a vibrant new community space.

Selected as the master developer through a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process in 2008, Cal Coast will spearhead the ambitious redevelopment project. Plans for the site include multi-family apartments with 285 units, 206 single family and townhomes, a 220-key hotel, a conference center consisting of approximately 7,500 square feet, three new restaurants, a community library, a 25-acre passive public park, and nearly 2 miles of public promenade. These new additions will seamlessly integrate with the existing restaurants, hotel, and marine facilities, enhancing the overall experience for residents and visitors.

The San Leandro Marina Park project is expected to generate approximately 1,660 new jobs along the shoreline, providing a significant economic boost to the region.
