(TSX-V: TAE) (FSE: YQJ) (the "Company" or "TransAmerican") is pleased to announce that Teresa Cherry, CPA, CGA, has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company, taking the place of Richard Barnett, who has resigned from those positions. TransAmerican wishes to thank Mr. Barnett for his service as the Company's CFO and Secretary for the past six years. In addition, Mr. Barnett has been appointed as an additional director of the Company.
Mrs. Cherry, CPA, CGA, acts as Controller for several public companies in the oil and gas and resource industries. The Company welcomes Teresa's expertise as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary.
