Sunwave now offering advanced Illumitex LED lighting
TORONTO, CANADA / ACCESSWIRE / December 3, 2014 / ONEnergy Inc. ("ONEnergy" or the "Corporation") (TSXV: OEG and OEG.A) today announced that ONEnergy's Sunwave(TM) Energy Efficiency business ("Sunwave") is now carrying the advanced Illumitex Inc. ("Illumitex") LED lighting line. Illumitex is an Austin, TX-based provider of highly engineered precision LEDs and LED lighting fixtures for the horticultural, industrial and architectural lighting sectors.
Illumitex offers a wide range of lighting products using their patented LED optics, which extract light at the die level and deliver more intense and uniform light to the target. Unlike antiquated lighting technologies such as fluorescent, induction and HID as well as many LED general lighting products, Illumitex horticultural products are designed specifically for use in indoor farming applications such as vertical farms and medical cannabis cultivation. This designed for use approach means indoor farm owners benefit not only from the substantially lower energy usage of LED lighting but also from higher crop yields and shorter growing cycles.
The industrial and architectural product lines offered by Illumitex also offer substantial benefits over competitive products including higher light quality and durability, including for highly demanding applications such as food processing, natatoriums and grow walls.
