BOSTON, MA / ACCESSWIRE / January 24, 2023 / Marco Bitran is the founder of Origin Property Group - an organization focused on empowering various communities throughout Massachusetts. As the owner or manager of more than four hundred residential units throughout the state, Marco and his team of professionals have partnered with other industry leading developers in an effort to establish affordable housing in low income communities. In a recent interview, Marco provides details into his successful career while discussing Origin Property Group's plans for the future.
Throughout the interview, Marco shares some advice for young business owners. When asked, "What advice on making money do you have for those who are just starting their career?" he states,
"I would tell them to make as many professional connections as possible. The real estate sector can be lucrative, but it's also time consuming and fraught with risk, so it's helpful to have other experienced individuals teach you how to navigate various challenges you may face. I'd also tell those who are just starting to be patient and to refrain from making irrational decisions. Building a company requires you to take a step back and continuously re-analyze your efforts."
Marco claims that a ‘point of origin is a starting point of something great' and properties have the potential to strengthen communities. As a culturally diverse city, Marco and the team and Origin are committed to investing in the city's architecture and infrastructure. When asked, "What do you think it is that makes you successful?" he states,
"I would have to say our ability to see the big picture and work hard. I have also had to reinvent myself several times. We take a lot of dilapidated buildings and transform them into completely new spaces. It's a very creative process which requires extensive planning. We are currently working on an affordable housing project in Roxbury with Madison Park, a community development corporation that manages a wide range of property. This project is also in conjunction with the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts - a non profit organization that provides job training for underserved communities. We also have projects going with a variety of other developers."
